Current ProjectsFor information about projects / participating in workshops contact: Hard Right - Easy Wrong: Drugs and Bullying "Safe Risks": A Theatre For Living Project that runs across four inner city High School campuses in Melbourne, Australia. The workshop/performance is an exploration of the desires and struggles for belonging around drug up-take among young people.
EACH (RIVENDELL) - "Contagious": A project in response to local community prejudice towards people labelled as having "mental health issues." This is presented in the Healsville area, an outer region of Melbourne. The workshops/performance seeks to address the struggle for careers for those who are part of the health care system, with a focus on issues related to accessing appropriate services. "In the Face of Climate Change": A dynamic conversation around climate change issues by looking at what it means to feel disconnected from the sense of oneself as an "ecological" being. The conversation continues in 2009 with quarterly workshops to be held at the CHALICE and a workshop to be held at CERES. "Arts for Peace": A workshop exploring the use of arts-based practice, particularly theatre method, to deal with conflict, mediation and peace-building concerns. This workshop will be co-facilitated with Richard Barbar from Makhampom Community Theatre (Thailand). Richard was a member of physical and musical theatre co. Gonghouse for over six years. This second series of workshops commences MID FEB. "Gendered Perspectives on sustainable peace building in Uganda": Project in partnership with Peace For All International to take place, in Northern Uganda, MAY 2009.
